Listen to my EP, Cloudplains here: 🤍 It's been almost a year since the last devlog, and I've been up to a lot. Here's the progress I made on my co-op, round-based zombie game since the last video. The game is a first person shooter set in World War 1, inspired by games like the Call of Duty franchise and Battlefield 1. I added recoil and camera shake, using the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as inspiration for how it should look. I also expanded the map so now you can open the barrier and progress to the next area. Here is the developer console that I mentioned in the video: 🤍 Social media things: Instagram: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 #devlog #gamedev #unity Music by Karl Casey 🤍 White Bat Audio Very cool and relatable paragraph: Another devlog here, showing what I did in terms of gamedev. What else should I add? I've been thinking about using AI for things like concept art (e.g. stable diffusion to generate images), or ChatGPT to help me solve hard programming problems (maybe it can help with physics related things?). . If you like this video, then you may enjoy watching similar game development videos from people like dani, barji, garbaj, pontypants, and others.

Discord - 🤍 Patreon - 🤍 // about My most ambitious indie open world rpg game yet. So, after 10 years in Unity, doing a ton of doodleing between real game development I was inspired last year to make an indie pirate / adventure game set in a tropical setting, where, aside from all the adventure, you can create your own experience by utilizing an unique personalization / difficulty system to shape the world and how it behaves around you. With Base Building, which is inspired by games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing New Horizon or ACNH, or Merchantry inspired by Sailwind. And if that is not your style, experience an indie adventure with the dream of Skyrim and take a look at the story, which will let you explore this small open world with enough simulated physics to let you sandbox around. Sounds like a lot to do in programming, low poly art, sounds, music and so on and that's why I'm making these videos. //media The Music consists of (in order of appearance) Blacksmith, Seven Seas, Heartbeat, Adventure, Village Ambiance, USSR, Dragonquest and Wellerman all made by Alexander Nakarada (🤍serpentsoundstudios.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License 🤍 Stockfootage is taken from 🤍 #devlog #gamedev #rpg

There is still a lot more to do, but I'm really happy with how things are looking. Hope you enjoyed this devlog! I am making this game using Unity & HDRP. This week I again worked on Entomophobia, Otok, Shrimp Game, and Dirt Simulator. Got many updates out between those games. An update to fix Dirt Simulator from the v1.07 patch that I shipped with broken code, which caused its rating to plummet. A small update to Entomophobia for mobile to add error reporting so that I have better knowledge of if the game is bugging out on people. Shrimp Game update with some minor error fixes and stuff. Then the Otok v1.0 update which includes the adobe building style that is shown off during the first and second days of progress from this week. And the Otok v1.01(mobile-specific) update which added a little 4-step tutorial, because there is a decent amount of 1-star reviews on iOS and I'm not sure whether it's because people do not understand the game, or they just dislike the Game. Anyways let me know if you enjoyed the video :) Discord: 🤍 A Bunch of My Links: 🤍 Otok is $1 on Itch.io: 🤍 and iOS: 🤍 if you have the game and enjoy it I would appreciate a rating or review :) Support the Indie Game Dev Dreams? In this devlog, I introduce you to the newest addition to my team: PolaRoy. PolaRoy is a robot that I built using the Unity game engine and programmed using C#. He is equipped with an advanced camera system and inverse kinematics, which allows him to create intimate POV shots to bring a more personal touch to the gamedev proccess. In this video, you'll get a glimpse into the process of creating a robot like PolaRoy and learn about some of the solutions I came up with to common problems. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! ···················································································· Find me everywhere else! ● Patreon: 🤍 ● Twitter: 🤍 ● Discord: 🤍

In this video, I'm starting my new project, a 3D indie game all about escaping a single room. This is just the first week's worth of progress and I haven't been able to get as much done as I would have liked, but I wanted to start keeping visual documentation to look back at

INDIE GAME DEVLOG: My Journey Into Games Development

This indie game devlog is going to chronicle my journey into the world of game development. I am completely new to making games, outside of some level design, 3d classes in college. For this project I'm using Unreal Engine 5 and whatever tutorials I can find on the internet. The game itself will be a side scroller, platformer and dungeon crawler. I'm trying to pull of a 2.5D style, but we'll see where the journey will take this project. Any important links are down below. Do you develop games, or have you thought about making games? What type of game would your dream project be? Let me know in the comments. Episode 2: 🤍 With all the feedback I had gotten, I made some changes in episode 2. Less music and time lapse, more talking / explaining. I'm still learning and finding my workflow. :) USEFUL LINKS: Making 2D Game in Unreal Engine | 🤍 2D Sprites in 3D World | 🤍 Unreal 2D Stick Figure | Live Training | 🤍 Setting Up 2D Animation | 🤍 Setting Up Character Movement | 🤍 2D Dummy Character | 🤍 Awesome Market Place for Assets and Games | 🤍 LET'S CONNECT: Instagram | 🤍 Twitch | 🤍 Discord | 🤍 Merch Store | 🤍
